Meet Kenny P
Intelligent, funny and inquisitive, Kenny P is the guy who hears a song and wants to know the story behind it. His love of radio comes from the days when the person behind the microphone mattered just as much as the music — and when musicians sounded like musicians.
What you'll hear
Retro Revival airs Wednesdays from 4–8 PM EST, built around decades of musical memories, one-hit wonders, hit songs and the strange little facts hiding behind both. His mom says she learns something every week. Kenny would also like the record to show that he sounds really cute on the radio.
In three words: Intelligent, Funny, Inquisitive
Mood-boost song: Pat Benatar — “All Fired Up”
You might be surprised to learn: He is an ordained minister and has performed more than 200 weddings.
Why Slightly Unhinged Radio? “It reminds me of the old days of listening to the radio when I was younger; hearing real musicians.”
Why tune in? His shows mix 40 years of memories with trivia and stories behind one-hit wonders and huge hits.
